I did not post the Kronicles last year for 2018, but they are there now. Check
them out!
So Melanie is 28 now. And this year her boyfriend asked her to marry him; so he
is now her fiancee. Their wedding will be in December 2020.
And Brian is 25 now. He has been working at his job at Moser in Indy for over a
year now.
Which makes Michael Victor 19 now. He graduated from Homestead High School in
May. And he started his Freshman year in college at Indiana University (IU) in
Bloomington, IN in August. Michael and I visited IU for an orientation in
June. He started off in Computer Science, but he already changed to
Informatics like Brian. We moved him into his dorm in August and he was down
there with no car for just over a month. Now he has the GMC Terrain down
there. That just makes it easier on me so I don't have to take him back and
forth all the time. And I have asked him to not overdo leaving campus on his
own too often. He has just completed his 1st semester.
Wendy got to be the Customer Service Manager for almost all of the two years
that she was at the Fort Wayne Newspapers. But back in October, they have
asked her to go back to doing her using her sales & marketing skills. She was
able to stay at her current salary, but they wanted to move her group of
"girls" to the tele-marketing group where they already had a manager. So she
has been doing the sales & marketing job since then and she is responsible for
the same part of Fort Wayne that she had when she worked at KPC.
Now I am back to working full-time at Raytheon. I started back to work in early
January working just 4 hours per day. By March, I was back to full-time. My
A1C improved so much that my doctor said I no longer needed to take insulin.
But I am still borderline diabetic; I just don't take drugs for it at this
time. I was on Xarelto as a blood thinner due to my blood clots until July.
But I am now off of that as well. In August, we got to have a mini-reunion in
Buffalo. We got to see a lot of our friends at Santora's. I am planning on
coming back to Buffalo in August 2020 to celebrate my 40th high school reunion.
This summer, our older dog Maia got sick and the x-rays revealed that she had a
large tumor that was already eating away at her ribs and also pushing her
stomach sideways. So unfortunately, we had to send Maia over the rainbow
bridge. She was 13! Our younger dog, Cooper, who's just 6 really missed her.
I was afraid that it effected his eating and I am still trying to work on that.
But we also got a new Aussie Shepherd pup. She was the only blonde pup in the
litter, so Wendy named her Blondie. And when we brought her home in September,
she was only 8 pounds. But she is already 34 pounds at 5 months old. We hope
she only gets to be around 40 pounds.
We are thankful for all of our friends and family. We wish we could see you all more often.
