JIM & WENDY KRZYZANOWSKI KRONICLES 2018

Time & distance may come between us,
But I'm a computer geek you know.
It's been so long since you've seen us,
So catch up on our news by reading below!

Melanie turned 27 this year. In August, she left her job at Ball Systems Technologies and got her "dream job" at IU Health Systems. But, before that she bought her first car; a Subaru. Unfortunately, she totalled it after having it for less than two weeks. She did replace it with another Subaru and she is loving it. She and her boyfriend still live in Indy.

Brian finished his two semester "capstone" project and officially received his diploma from IU Bloomington. Over the summer he had an internship at the BMV. And when that was done in August, he was hired by his mentor at a place called Moser. Since he is getting paid a steady salary with his new job, he bought himself a new car; a new Chevy Malibu. His birthday in November makes him 24 now!

Michael Victor also had a birthday in November and he is now 18. This was the last year that he'll be on the drumline for Homestead Spartan Alliance Marching Band. They came in 3rd at the State finals at Lucas Oil Stadium this year. For Spring Break next year, they will be going to Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Wendy left her job at KPC Media last year and she started a new job at the Fort Wayne Newspapers. Wendy is the Customer Service Manager. However, much of Wendy's time from September to December was spent taking care of me.

The biggest news about me is that I was diagnosed with a meningioma on September 11. I had a CT Scan and an MRI. The doctor at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne thought that the mass was bigger than something he could handle. So he sent me down to St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Michael and I had a campus visit to Purdue University on October 10. Things got really bad that day to the point where I could not walk and I was very weak. I went to the Emergency Room the next day because I was also unable to eat. I lost over 20 pounds in just over a month. They admitted me for a few days and I started Short Term Disability (STD) from work. They diagnosed me with thrush and my A1C was also very high and they diagnosed me as diabetic. I had an embolism procedure done at St. Vincent Hospital on November 6 and a craniotomy surgery on November 7. I was in St. Vincent Hospital until November 17. They sent me to Lutheran Rehab Hospital in Fort Wayne where I stayed until November 27. While at home, Wendy noticed that my feet and my legs were swollen, so I went to the Emergency Room again on December 3. They found a blood clot in one of my legs and both of my lungs, so they admitted me. I was in Lutheran Hospital until December 10. I have improved everyday and I should be returning to work on January 7. I am still working at Raytheon in Fort Wayne, IN. Most of my work is on programs that are centered in Massachusetts.

We are thankful for all of our friends and family. We wish we could see you all more often.

Wishing you a season filled
