The biggest news this year is the arrival of Michael Victor Krzyzanowski on
Wednesday November 22, 2000 at 3:19 PM. Mikey weighed in at 7 lb. 7 oz. and was
19 ½ inches long. He has blue eyes and light brown hair.
When it comes to crying, Michael is an unusually quiet baby. But, when he is
eating or sleeping, he makes the funniest squeaking sounds - so we have
nicknamed him "squeaker". When sleeping at night, he only wakes Wendy
up once, then I take over in the morning, before work, so Wendy is able to get
some needed rest.
Melanie is doing great in the 4th grade - she had the highest Math
grade in her class. After school, she is busy with Dance classes & Girl
Scouts.
Brian started kindergarten this year. In the morning he goes on the bus with
Melanie, then in the afternoon he is in an enrichment program at the YMCA. He
is very happy about having a new brother and he can't wait until Santa comes
with all his gifts.
Wendy is recuperating fine and loving on Mikey at all times. She said
"it's like riding a bike". She makes it look easy like the pro that
she is after having Mel & Brian.
Of course I'm getting into the Father role. Wendy says I'm "taking care of
Mikey like a real pro too". I've even changed a few dirty (and I mean
"dirty") diapers.
